Overview of the Company, Property Strategy
Property Strategy () is a small, but rapidly expanding property consultancy company based in the UK, where we offer support to other property investors who want scale up their businesses in a way that creates TRUE FREEDOM.
Our CEO Jackie purchased her first property back in 2014 because she wanted to be able to go on holidays anytime, anywhere, and without asking for anyone’s permission. Since then, she and her husband/business partner, Dave, have done £17M+ worth of deals, raised £7M+ in investor finance, and created the #holidayevery6weekslifestyle for themselves.
With the ready-made strategy they’ve created from their experiences, Jackie and her business partners Dave (the detailed one) and Dom (the Peak Performance coach) are working with other experienced property investors on their business strategy so they can systemise and scale up their property business, whilst creating the free time they dreamed of when they started.
Since 2016, Property Strategy has created Business Strategies for over 100 property businesses – and we continue to share with others how they can Focus, Raise Finance, Do More Deals and create FREEDOM – with this ready-made strategy for scaling up their property business. We also host a top 10 charting podcast, Property Lifestyle Mastery.

Whilst sometimes additional hours and flexibility are required during busy times, we generally do not like our team members to have to work more that c.40 hours per week… family time and personal time are important, and we respect this.
90% of the work of property strategy is hosted online, but we also hold quarterly workshops and retreats in Europe – so it’s a unique opportunity for someone who loves events, but wants the freedom to work online to join our amazing team.
About of the Role
For this role you must be skilled at Project & Event Management. You will be responsible for planning and running dynamic and engaging business and social events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and that all the logistics are sorted.
Events play a huge part in the success of our company, so the ideal candidate must be meticulous and organised. You need to be able to coordinate multiple moving parts under pressure and ensure that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption.
You need to have excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills. You must also have excellent research and negotiation skills to aid you when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors. You will have multiple responsibilities, so you must be able to prioritise a busy schedule and work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event. You need to be flexible, target-driven and proactive – have the initiative to make the most out of the resources you have to come up with a solution, but also know when to reach out and ask for help if you are struggling.
As you will be working with a small team, you must be able to motivate and look out for others, and be able to to give candid feedback to help those around you to improve.
There are a lot of things to consider when organising an event so you must have excellent attention to detail and love consistently improving processes to ensure we are up to date and operating as efficiently as possible.
For this role you must be a strong and tenacious individual with a flair of creativity and love for seeing parts of a whole come together to create a successful project. It is a challenging role, but for the right individual will provide huge learning and growth opportunities.
As an Event Manager, your role will require you to…
– Produce detailed proposals for both online and in-person events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
– Research venues, suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire
– Manage and coordinate suppliers, guest speakers, and all event logistics (e.g venue, catering, travel)
– Liaise with sales and marketing team to publicise and promote the event, and be able to handle the logistics side of marketing and promotions
– Coordinate suppliers, handle client inquiries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly
– Produce post-event evaluation to further improve future events
Role Requirements
– Clear concise written and verbal English communication skills
– Has the ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
– Effective in providing exceptional customer service
– Desire to be part of a team (you will not be treated like an outsourced VA) with a desire to understand the full company strategy and your role in it – you will be included in weekly team meetings
– Ability to work predominantly between 9am to 5pm UK hours Monday-Friday
– Must have an excellent quality internet connection that can accommodate calls on Zoom/Teams and ensure quality on VOIP as required
– Access to a modern & quality laptop
Work experience
– Must have previous experience in event & project management
– Preferably someone with experience working in a UK-based company or exposure to UK working culture
PC skills/System knowledge:
– Excellent computer skills (you are quick and confident at whatever is thrown your way from a technology perspective)
– MS applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
– Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Microsoft office suite)
– Ideally experience in using Asana, Tidycal, Zoom, and Social Media Scheduling platforms
What we can offer
– Salary of £4-£5per hour
– In addition to your hourly wage you will get?13?Month Bonus
– You will be entitled to 27 working days annual holiday per year including entitlement to seven statutory public holidays, prorated in accordance with your hours of work. The paid holidays mentioned above are: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Independence Day, All Saints Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve (7 Days)
– Annual team social / get together (in 2024 this will be on Palawan!)
