Role Overview:
As an Events Manager at Star DJ Hire, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Head of Operations and taking the lead on managing our diverse range of events. Your responsibilities will include planning, coordinating, and executing all event aspects, ensuring they run smoothly and meet our high standards of client satisfaction. You’ll liaise with clients to understand their requirements, coordinate with vendors, oversee event setups, and handle any on-site issues that arise. Your goal will be to create unforgettable experiences for our clients, aligning with Star DJ Hire’s reputation for excellence in the entertainment industry. This role demands strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the Head of Operations with their needs and provide support in overseeing the company’s operational activities.
– Manage administrative tasks related to events, including email correspondence, coordinating schedules, and processing payments for DJs and other service providers.
– Efficiently handle incoming calls, addressing customer enquiries and needs.
– Conduct email correspondence with both outbound and inbound concerns / leads.
– Maintain high-quality customer interactions, ensuring a positive company image.
– Manage customers once booked through to the event and post-event.
– Address and resolve any on-site issues promptly, implementing solutions to maintain event quality and client satisfaction.
– Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, assess performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Exceptional command of Australian English, both spoken and written.
– Preferably having an accent close to the Australian accent to enhance customer interaction and sales.
– Proven experience in customer service roles, and or sales
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
