**ABOUT US**
We are an innovative startup based in Sydney, Australia, and we are developing a new app aimed at enriching the lives of couples. Our goal is to create an app that fosters stronger relationships and adds a bit of spice to daily life. We have created the initial alpha’s of both the android and iOS apps for this project and are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join us in bringing the apps to market.
**THE ROLE**
I created an initial concept for the app and began development based off this, however I am entirely self taught and frankly need a professional to bring their creative flair and take real ownership of the design.
Your first task will be to import the existing design from Adobe XD into Figma. The design has been based on this great Behance project which I really like and used as inspiration for our app – /gallery/141700011/Disney-But-Better.
You will then be given a brief for what we want to achieve, and the freedom to achieve it. You will need to create the templates, components and design systems in Figma for an very efficient workflow.
You will also have other design opportunities, such as helping design our website landing page, as well other marketing material, if that interests you.
Our team is very small, and you will be expected to manage your tasks independently whilst also interacting with the other team members when needed. You will report to the owner directly, on a semi frequent basis.
**YOUR SKILLS**
We are looking for someone with:
– Figma Pro level experience
– A degree or qualification is not necessary, but you MUST have a strong portfolio of really solid work. We’ll be looking for modern design principles and attractive designs.
– Experience designing for mobile apps
Additionally, the ideal candidate should be:
– Familiar with Google Workspace.
– Familiar with Jira
– Able to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent in problem-solving and communication skills.

**WORK SCHEDULE**
We are looking for a part time role, and are flexible to the requirements of the right person. We would prefer 20-30 hours per week. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility to balance your work with other commitments.
**SALARY & BENEFITS**
– We are open to negotiation however anticipate a salary range of $7-12 / hour. Please let us know your salary expectation in the application.
