Responsibilities:
1. Manage the entire chargeback process, including reviewing, documenting, and disputing chargeback claims initiated by clients.
2. Investigate and analyze chargeback reasons provided by clients to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
3. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and resolve chargeback disputes in a timely manner.
4. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of chargebacks in the accounting system.
5. Maintain detailed records and documentation of chargeback activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
6. Monitor and report on chargeback trends and metrics to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
7. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to chargebacks, implementing changes as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize financial impact.
8. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to chargebacks in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with specific expertise in managing chargebacks preferred.
3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
