Our CEO, Ben, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented assistant to lighten his administrative load and help him become more proactive in identifying potential issues.

The Role
In this exciting role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the CEO’s day-to-day operations. You’ll handle a variety of administrative tasks, with a focus on finance and data analysis.

Administrative Support:
Check and manage the founder’s inbox, responding to / or filing emails as necessary.
Manage the founder’s calendar, schedule meetings, and occasionally handle travel arrangements.
Post updates on LinkedIn and other social media platforms, engaging with followers.
Document administrative processes and tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Financial Management:
Utilise Xero and Dext to reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Support with finances and pay selected invoices.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyse company data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare reports and dashboards to keep the founder informed of key metrics.

Additional Responsibilities:
Keep an eye on sales performance.
Conduct research and book appointments as needed.
Send follow-up emails and reminders.

Who We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Prior experience with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of accounting principles and comfortable using Xero and Dext.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous improvement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.

Bonus Points:
Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
A genuine interest in arts, crafts, and hobbies.

Work Hours:
This is a remote position requiring availability during UK business hours (9 AM – 5 PM).
