Job Description

The CEO of a specialty law firm in the USA seeking eager, smart, organized assistant to work closely with in maintaining schedule, calendaring most important work / keeping focused, relationship and networking outreach (marketing), and project management assistance in meeting and exceeding business objectives. You will be an extension of the CEO, not a mere scheduler.

You will need to be fluent with English (written and spoken grammar at C1 or C2 level), comfortable organizing competing priorities into a manageable schedule, hungry to tackle new and challenging assignments, and excited by the idea of organizing chaos into clarity.

You must have taken the language proficiency and IQ testing to be considered for an interview.

** If you are a naturally organized person who finds themselves wanting to organize and clarify other people’s lives or work, this might be a perfect job for you. **

You will work directly with the CEO, meeting daily and communicating regularly throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage day-to-day operations of the CEO
* Coordinate team meetings and events
* Manage calendars and travel arrangements for the CEO
* Organizing and following through on zoom meetings
* Be the CEO’s “gatekeeper”
* Handle incoming correspondence from external parties
* Scheduling Zooms, sending reminders, etc.
* Delegate to others

Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Remote / Virtual: We are a remote / cloud based firm. Our main office is located in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. You will need good internet speeds and low background noise, comfortable working in roughly eastern US time zone.

We reward performance. We provide the systems for success. We have a positive learning culture. We encourage problem-solving. Energized, eager go-getters who desire an environment that rewards their accountability and work ethic, are comfortable with responsibility, and prefer a positive work environment, thrive here.

We expect that employees will average 40 hours per week.

To be a good fit, you must be:

* smart and hungry to grow personally and professionally
* eager and willing to adopt and follow systems precisely, while being mentally flexible and open to changes in those systems as we improve as an organization
* open to receiving consistent, regular feedback and taking self-improvement opportunities
* growth-oriented, taking personal and professional development seriously
* willing to take risks and make decisions without constant micromanagement from above
* open to trying to solve problems, not just report them, even if that means taking risks and being incorrect at times
* computer literate, and willing to learn and experiment with new software–everything we do is paperless, cloud-based, digital, etc.

The organizational skills are akin to project management: organizing ideas and goals into a manageable process and clarifying who will do what by when, then helping the visionary CEO focus on the right things to successfully execute.

We provide quarterly bonuses, paid sick leave and vacation, and provide Certificates of Employment to successful team members.
