APPROACH TO WORK & SKILLS

Strategist’s mind: Quickly grasps the subtleties of competing organizational priorities and advocates for the most strategic use of CEO time. Manages varying and sometimes competing tasks effectively and efficiently. Autonomously identify potential problems with projects and recommend solutions with limited context and information. Plans ahead, anticipates problems, and finds alternative paths, when needed, to get to the finish line.
Manages a high volume of work with efficiency: Has, or can create, a system for keeping tasks from slipping through the cracks for themselves and high-level executives. Savvy in managing up. Able to juggle competing demands and prioritize without sacrificing quality. Plans backwards to make deadlines. Holds a high standard even when the roles responsibilities become challenging and demanding.
Attention to detail: Notices and fixes errors that others might overlook. Acknowledges mistakes and turns them into learning opportunities. Has a track record of leaving things better than they found them.
Clear, precise, compassionate communicator: Communicates clearly, with the ability to draft emails, reports, memos, presentations, and internal and external communications in the voice of the executive. Communicates well with others, asking questions to understand others’ perspectives and synthesizing complex topics.
Trustworthiness and realness: Comes across as genuine. Says what they mean. Builds authentic relationships across lines of difference, such as race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, class, ability, gender identity, or other identities. Follows through on commitments and always acts in the best interest of the company and its members.

Preferred:
Skilled in planning, managing, and executing complex global events
Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Expertise with video conferencing software (Zoom, Skype, etc.)
Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)
