Hi There!
We are growing our team and looking to find someone to come to work directly with our CEO as an executive assistant.
This will start out as a 20 hours per week role and will scale to 40 hours per week after about 30 days.
We are looking for someone who #1 is highly organized, detail-oriented, and serious about organization and attention to detail. You probably have done planning or bookkeeping or data entry because you’re good at logistics and keeping track of details.
You probably like to write lists and work from a checklist at all times, you likely enjoy working alone most of the time, and with people, some of the time, as the work you’ll be doing is typically alone.
You are tech-savvy and understand how to use Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other “G Suite” tools to get work done. If you have any experience using Calendly – that would be a major plus.
You consider yourself very dependable. You aren’t the kind of person who lets things slips “just once” and then makes excuses, you are the kind of person who wants to get it done perfectly the first time. You probably got the award in elementary school for “perfect attendance” because you were always in class, every single day, no matter what.
You are also the kind of person who doesn’t take things personally. You don’t easily have your feelings hurt, you don’t get easily offended, you stay objective and you always like to use logic to make decisions. You are always pushing to get things done. You like to take responsibility and your main focus is on delivering results.
If you’re the type of person who likes super creative work, where you have a lot of variety in your day, work with lots of other people, like to chat and deal with a lot of different types of challenges, then this probably is not right for you. This is organizer work and will require you to keep checklists and work from them to complete them perfectly every single day.
On the other hand, if you’re the type of person who loves organizing things, operating efficiently, and using checklists and basically becoming better and better at running through a preplanned system, then this might be perfect for you.
We are really am looking for someone who is incredibly organized in their work life and personal life and who really doesn’t like being disorganized or messy. It’s important to us to find someone who’s incredibly meticulous about details and getting things done accurately. Since you will be managing the calendar and handling the affairs of the CEO, it’s critical that you don’t make sloppy mistakes that waste time and money.
We are looking for someone that self-motivated, organized, and would like to have a stable role in helping our CEO stay organized.
If this is you, please send me a message and include your resume. In your message tell me (a) why you think you’re a good fit for this position, (b) what you believe are your strengths, and (c) what you believe are your weaknesses. Please write “EA Rockstar” in the subject line so I know that you read this message and are paying attention to the instructions.
Applicants who don’t follow these instructions will not be considered.
It’s important that you tell us about why you think you’re a good match for what I’ve listed above with a particular focus on the organizational aspect and attention to detail. I’m going to review every response we get personally, and I’ll contact you if I think that you’d be a good fit.
