An Executive Assistant is someone with superior organizational skills and communication skills who will keep the founder of the company organized, make sure our awesome clients are being taken care of, and will always be a week ahead of schedule.

About Amanda Burk & Raise The Woof LLC:

My name is Amanda Burk and I am the founder of Raise The Woof LLC, an in-home/mobile dog training company in Houston, TX. Many of our clients come to us as a last resort and could potentially be forced to rehome or euthanize their dog if they do not get a trainer to help correct their dog’s behavioral issues. I started my journey to become a dog trainer in 2014 volunteering at South Houston Animal Hospital. During my time there I realized my skills were unique and helpful. I learned that I could teach people how to speak dog! Fast forward to today, I’ve been running my business for 2 years and now have two other trainers that work with me. We also have exciting plans to open a training facility in the heart of Houston before the end of the year!! So excited!!

Expectations:
Be the support and first point of contact for everyone in the business.

Primary tasks include:
– Organizing Meetings
– Calendar Management
– Handle phone calls and email in a professional manner
– Take notes or transcribe meetings
– Arrange payments for vendors, travel, and sales expenses
– Manage filing systems, update records, and organize documentation
– Prepare and create PowerPoint presentations and materials as needed

Responsibilities:
– Consistent communication with our amazing clients.
– Make sure that our clients get daily accountability and support throughout their training plan.
– Help the executive for whom they work with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings and any other administrative tasks that help the executive perform their job.
– Prepare and organize databases and reports
– Handle confidential information

Requirements:
– 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
– Strong business and business communication acumen
– Self-starter who needs little management
– Excellent project management and a positive attitude
– Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and communicate effectively with Amanda and our team.
– Must possess a strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work in a high intense sales environment
– Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and effectively communicate dog training concepts to prospects.
– Desire to be on a team of positive, success-minded individuals.

The position is Full Time between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Monday through Friday.
