Summary For Company and Role
IDA Ventures is hiring an executive assistant. The time commitment is 20 hours a week + an opportunity up to 40 hours. Ideally there is 3 hours of overlap with eastern standard time (for an example, 9:00am to 12:00pm EST).

Each day will have standard responsibilities and also specific one-time special projects. The individual must be flexible to the change! In addition to the transactional/administrative/organizational nature of this position, the business organization for venture capital, consulting, building a start-up and philanthropy, this role will have significant exposure personally to Kerry, the CEO and her Chief of Staff. We promise you will learn a lot and be surrounded by great mentors!

Responsibility Outline
Manage the accountability of founder and team members
2-3 times a week check-in (Eastern Time) to set priorities and discuss activities with the Chief of Staff.
Ideally the daily check-in is a 15 minute check-in at 10:30 am ET, however, there is flexibility given the time difference
Track priorities in accountability software

Admin
General support such as scheduling and coordinating meetings
Organize files and information in Google Drive
Manage CRM

Due Diligence & Research
Perform various internet-based research
Perform prospect and market research
Compile information for projects and create presentation
Learning about investment due diligence across venture capital and private equity
Make business recommendations based on findings

Website design and build social media following
Create graphics
Design a new website, edit and update website
Work with a Chief of Staff to launch social media accounts (instagram and Linkedin) for Kerry’s personal accounts and IDA Ventures. Understand social media and how to build a strong appropriate following

Network Manager
Maintain contacts in Airtable and excel CRM (or other CRM that the assistant has experience)
Update existing contact information
Enter new contact information
Manage migration and build of new CRM
Communications
Send follow-up emails based on information provided
Record information collected from emails/forms in contact database
Move LinkedIn connections to the appropriate communication channel

Email Management
Create and manage folders and filters in gmail

Screen additional project leaders for projects
Posting descriptions and screening. As there are all types of responsibilities in building a new company, manage and help select one off consultants and eventually junior team members
