Summary For Company and Role:
Kerry Leigh Ventures is hiring an Executive Assistant/Chief of Staff. The role is flexible and can be as little as 20 hours a week to as much as 40 hours a week. Ideally 3 to 4 hours of overlap with eastern standard time (either 9:00 to 12:00pm EST or 3:00 to 6:00pm EST. The 3 hours of overlap can also be a combination of the above. For example, 9am to 11am ET and 5pm to 6pm ET.

Each day will be different with the below responsibilities. The individual must be flexible to the change! In addition to the transactional/administrative/organizational nature of this position, this role will have significant exposure to the personal administrative of Kerry Leigh in addition to the business organization for venture capital, consulting, building a start-up and philanthropy. Longer-term potential for hiring another administrative assistant who this position will hire and manage. Please see additional details below. Responsibility Outline Below:

Accountability
Daily check-ins (Eastern Time) to set priorities and discuss previous day’s activities.
Ideally the daily check-in is a 15 minute check-in at 9:15am ET or 5pm ET, however, there is flexibility given the time difference.
Track priorities in accountability software
Monthly goal setting and check ins

Admin
General support such as scheduling as required
Manage CRMs, ideally has experience with Pipedrive and/or Trello

Due Diligence & Research
Perform various internet-based research
Perform prospect research
Compile information for projects and presentations
Make business recommendations based on findings

Network Manager
Maintain contacts in Airtable CRM
Update existing contact information
Enter new contact information
Manage migration and build of new CRM
Communications
Send follow-up emails based on information provided
Record information collected from emails/forms in contact database
Move LinkedIn connections to the appropriate communication channel

Email Management
Create and manage folders and filters in Gmail

Social Media + Outreach
Compile a list of potential speaking engagements based on existing criteria
Bonus if you can manage and build social media (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)

Manage other admins
As the first Admin/Chief of Staff, potential to manage and help select junior team members
