Ballard Products, LLC is a family-owned ecommerce company that supplies diverse household goods to buyers across the United States and Canada. Through our growing network of wholesale vendors, we purchase and resell everything from candy bars to car parts using online marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart and eBay. Founded in 2017 by two brothers, we remain focused on building a tight team that is prepared to evolve with the changing ecommerce landscape.

Job Overview
As a small company, the leadership team is directly involved in multiple areas of the business, including sales, finance and parts of operations. Small tasks, though important, can prevent leadership from accomplishing the long-term work that is critical to business growth. The executive assistant (EA) will support one of the company owners to ensure they can focus on the most critical projects and still accomplish the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a team.

Schedule
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 7am-4pm, Eastern Standard Time (EST) – Schedule may vary and require adaptation over time

Executive Assistant duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
– Prepare for and lead daily (M-F) check in meetings with their executive
– Actively manage executive’s email and daily calendar
– Assist with travel arrangements and conference bookings
– Perform a variety of recurring administrative tasks
– Build positive relationships with executive and the entire leadership team
– Continue identifying ways to improve executive effectiveness to support long term goals

Qualifications
* 2 Years of EA work experience
* Excellent written and verbal English fluency
* Strong attention to detail
* Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills
* EOS Experience preferred, but not required

1. I’m running into a sales meeting and I say that I want to get on the 6 o’clock flight home to see my wife and kids, and I’m going to be heads down phone off between now and 5 o’clock when the meeting ends, but you look and see that there’s not a 6 o’clock flight but there’s a 530 and 730 flight. How do you proceed? Please explain your thinking.

2. You see an email arrive from our Warehouse manager, stating we have a major production problem that will disrupt work all week if not addressed. I am scheduled to start a meeting with a big potential client in 10 minutes that will last until the end of the workday. How do you proceed? Please explain your thinking.

3. You start working with a new executive who is clearly overwhelmed and knows nothing about how to work with an EA. How would you approach the new project?
