Job Description

We’re a real estate media company based in Germany. We shoot photos, videos, floor plans, etc., of properties for real estate agents.

We are in search of a virtual assistant for the following tasks:

Main Focus:
• Quality check of media delivered by our external editors
o Media types: photos, videos, 360° tours, floor plans, virtual staging, image enhancement, etc.
• Making adjustments in Photoshop / Lightroom / video editing and other software if needed
• Communication with external editors (in English) – coordinate customer requests from clients
• Uploading into our software or cloud
• Sending media to clients
• Refining internal processes for media delivery and quality control

Optional Tasks (depending on your skills and business needs):
• Video editing of property videos (preferably in Premiere Pro)
o Simple walkthrough videos of properties with speed ramps
o More complex “cinematic” property videos with title animation, audio, subtitles, color grading, etc.
• Social media client outreach
o Utilizing Instagram search functions to find prospective local clients
o Implementing engagement strategies to raise company awareness among real estate agents
o Messaging to provide our services (using messaging templates)
o Potentially responding to client messages (depending on German language proficiency and/or by using ChatGPT)
• Project management
• Data entry/maintenance
• Bookkeeping
• General tasks as a personal assistant
• Other tasks

We would like to hire someone part-time for now (2-4 hours/day – 5-6 days/week) and potentially shift to a full-time position in the future, depending on what tasks you will be able to execute and how quickly we can grow the business.

Working hours will be between 7 am and 6 pm (German timezone: CET). The main work has to be done between 7 am and 11 am. Due to the varying daily workload, we’re looking for someone who is flexible and can adapt their working hours according to the needs of our company and respond to urgent tasks as they arise. This means working more hours on some days and fewer on others, mainly depending on how many shootings we had the day before and when the media is provided after the edit.
Some tasks might be flexible and not tied to a specific time of day.

As time progresses, we aim to further grow our business and automate/change various aspects of it. Consequently, there will be many opportunities for growth and promotions within the company as new possibilities arise.

Skills and Other Requirements:
• Knowledge in Photoshop, Lightroom
• Knowledge in Premiere Pro or other video editing software (not required, but would be helpful)
• Great time management
• Fast worker
• Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
o Very open to constructive feedback
• Willing to learn
• Great team player
• Good english skills
• German language skills (would be helpful but not required, as we aim to use ChatGPT if communication in German is needed)

Beginning of the job: as soon as possible

Payment: 3-5 $/hours depending on your skills
