Canekast is rethinking and rebuilding manufacturing in the US by building a network of facilities and knowledge workers across the globe. Our facilities engineer, manufacture, and distribute to some of North America’s top manufacturers. We are looking for passionate and energetic people excited about manufacturing, supply chain, and the technologies we use, to remake these industries!

I am looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Shared Services Team, a global team of highly energetic and intelligent individuals supporting our manufacturing facilities in areas including quoting, engineering, accounting, customer service, and software development. Shared services is remote and async position allowing you to work from anywhere, on your own schedule. Working through Shared Services, you will have the opportunity to be part of multiple companies, interact with top customers, and have exposure to vast industries. This position is a special place within this team working only with the President and facilitating his day and tasks more efficiently. The President is also the COO and heads up Sales, so your duties will be helping him with activities related to his sales outreach, running the operations, as well as personal events in his life.

• Enjoy getting down into the details and making sure they are right

Day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Answering personal and work emails
• Calendar Scheduling for events
• Booking Travel
• Extracting data and names from emails
• Creating sales lists and targets
• Data entry into CRM platforms
• Setting up events for conferences and hosted parties
• Cleaning and reorganizing files
• Documenting preferences and processes

Skills you should have

• Excellent verbal and written English
• Ability to figure things out without a template
• Experience in event planning
• Ability to “think for me” as you get to know me
• Ability to do tough data projects
• Internet research on events, planning
• Professional demeanor, dependable, and punctual
• Extreme attention to detail
• Punctual in all matters
• Proficient in Excel
