We are an accounting firm in the UK, seeking an experienced Accountant & Executive Assistant to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Email Management:
Monitor and manage the company’s email accounts, following up on emails and responding to queries in a timely manner.
Tech-Savvy Operations:
Utilize various tools and software to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Calendar Management:
Manage and update the business calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain and organize company documents and client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Meeting Coordination:
Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to ensure all meetings are productive and well-documented.
Bookkeeping:
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.
Inbound Call Handling:
Manage inbound calls to our firm with excellent telephone skills, providing a professional and courteous experience for all callers.
Ad Hoc Enquiries:
Handle miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a virtual assistant.
Experience with bookkeeping tasks and familiarity with accounting principles.
Communication Skills:
Excellent telephone and email communication skills, with the ability to address client needs professionally and efficiently.
Ability to speak with a British accent is required for handling inbound calls.
Initiative:
Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Professionalism:
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours and Benefits:
Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM UK time
Holidays: 20 paid holidays per year
Salary: $600 per month
