Executive Assistant / Virtual Assistant for a Motivational Speaker in the U.S.A

We are not just looking for a general Virtual Assistant to fill a job. This position is a stepping stone to joining the team of a Motivational Speaker in the U.S.A. long-term for years to come.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Your role will consist of being an executive assistant to the company owner, assisting with creating bookings through a specific set of pre-made systems using Hubspot CRM and other supporting platforms for sales and prospecting clients to help Donovan get booked. Hubspot CRM knowledge is not totally required but is a bonus. This role relies on your internet speeds as you will be working from the computer 100% of the time for 8 hours per day.

Most of the role relies on your ability to follow specific directions and tasks to complete your job duties. It is important to speak fluent English and write grammatically correct sentences in sales-based email responses, which will be sent to principals, counselors, assistant principals, and superintendents of schools.

Your attention to detail is important as you will be handling contracts, invoices, legal agreements, flights, hotels, rental cars, calendar management etc., sent by the executive assistant, so if attention to detail is a weakness for you, this role will not be for you. The working hours of this role will be set in Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the U.S.A. from 8:00 am EST – to 5:00 pm EST, so you will be working the night shift in Philippine time. I would not recommend applying if you cannot work a permanent night shift role for the coming years.

– You will be handling high-level company contracts, legal agreements, invoices, booking travel, handling calendar management tasks, and following specific requests from the owner and motivational speaker Donovan Tolbert personally. Attention to detail is crucial to your success and time spent with the company. 2. Meeting Deadlines
– The entire position is based on the ability to meet deadlines as some pre-created tasks and systems depend on your speed and efficiency with using a computer and multiple platforms to help with the sales process. If you make a mistake or are unable to meet a specific deadline, please be upfront about it; we are all humans, after all.

3. Accepting-Internalizing-Applying “Constructive Criticism”
– You will work for a motivational speaker, so let’s be honest. You will be called out and given constructive criticism if you are not putting your best foot forward. We want you to be self-motivated, but during times you are not above the standard expectations, your ability to receive, communicate failures, take accountability, and apply the feedback given will be crucial to your long-term development with the company.
