Our primary company is Carpe Diem Tours, a local tour company based in Rome. We specialise in a variety of small groups, personal experiences including Colosseum and Vatican Tours, walking tours, ghost tours and more. Other companies under the Global Experiences umbrella include Rome with Chef and Rome Food Tours, specialising in Italian cooking classes and local culinary experiences. Our latest and most exciting venture is the Tipsy Tour, an exciting nightlife experience now operating in 6 european cities, and currently expanding!

Job Description:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO in various aspects of business development. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional presentation skills, a strong aptitude for market research, and the ability to visualise processes effectively. In addition to these qualities, the candidate should excel in technology research, possess advanced spreadsheet skills, and demonstrate exceptional organisational role will involve collaborating closely with the CEO to develop compelling presentations, conduct thorough market research, technology research and assist in business process mapping and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
– Develop compelling and visually stunning presentations for key business meetings and initiatives.
– Collaborate closely with the CEO to translate ideas and concepts into impactful visual representations.
– Utilise advanced presentation skills to create dynamic presentations that effectively communicate complex information.
– Conduct thorough research and gather data to support presentation content, including market trends, competitor analysis, and industry insights.
– Assist in business process mapping by visualising workflows and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
– Support business development efforts by creating product prototypes and mock-ups in the backend system.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging presentation trends and technologies to continuously enhance presentation quality and effectiveness.
– Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the business development function.
– Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in business development, presentation design, or related fields.
– Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint or similar software.
– Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
– Ability to visualise ideas and processes creatively using charts, diagrams, and other visual tools.
– Proficiency in data management and analysis.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.

SHIFT HOURS AND COMPENSATION
This position will start with 20 hours per week training with the CEO with a training rate of $3.50 per hour. Working hours will be 9 AM – 5 PM Rome, Italy time (4 PM – 12 AM PHT).

Upon completion of the training period, there will be a probationary period lasting 3 months. The progression during this period will be contingent upon your performance and subject to the manager’s discretion. After successful completion of both the training and probationary periods, the role has the potential to transition into a full-time position with a regular payment.
