Exp Web Developer with WordPress and Woo Commerce Exp

Our team is the best at what they do, and we are looking to enhance our Marketing team with an experienced Web Developer who has proven experience with WordPress and Woo Commerce Sites.

Position Overview
To develop and manage the company’s website to increase overall performance, working closely as part of the Marketing team to achieve our overall Online strategy.

Hours of work Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (Manila Time) with 1 hour for break = 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities include however not limited to:
• Responsible for checking and maintaining the Caterlink website
• Reviewing updates to WordPress and Plugins
• Programming, developing, and coding websites using WordPress and WooCommerce
• Collaborating with the marketing team on UX change projects
• Monitoring website performance and conducting health checks
• Managing website back-end, including database and server integration, and plugin updates
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs and system errors
• Staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices

Skills & Abilities
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Can work with PHP and Linux
• Understand networking and infrastructure.
• Understanding of scripting and system integration
• Experience with API calls
• Desired experience working with Epicor (but not necessary)
• Strong expertise in custom WordPress theme development, including full user editability, complex layouts, and plugin customization
• Familiarity with common plugins like Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, and All Imports
• Experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design
• Can visualise the different personas that will be accessing the website.
• Proficiency in web page design using visual tools or coding in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of usability and user experience design is a plus
• Excellent understanding of WooCommerce and WordPress
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to analyse data to spot trends and behaviours.
• Work individually and with the team.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication with internal and external team members

Minimum BYOD System Requirements
• Stable fibre internet connection (50MBPS upload/download speed or faster) with Back-up internet connection.
• Laptop or PC with at least 16GB RAM, i7 CPU, Windows 10 operating system, Camera.
• Noise Cancelling headset with microphone for answering phone calls and attending video meetings.
• Work location must have minimal distractions and background noise.
