Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated expertise in Australian business accounting.
Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting, BAS and IAS preparation, and GST.
Qualifications in Business, Commerce, and/or Accounting.
Competency in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
A strong commitment to professional and personal responsibility.
Display of leadership qualities and unwavering dedication to your role.
Effective collaboration skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
Have a strong work ethic and a positive “Can do” attitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, and working papers for a variety of entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and self-managed superannuation funds.
Complete and submit business activity statements on behalf of clients.
Generate monthly financial reports.
Interact with tax authorities when necessary.
Address client inquiries and manage client correspondence.
Handle invoice and paperwork management.
Maintain the client database.
Provide support to the forensic accounting and financial planning teams.
Undertake additional ad hoc tasks as directed.
Deliver excellent customer service over the phone.

Working Hours: From 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including of a 1-hour lunch break.
