We seek for an awesome Experienced Administrative and Marketing Assistant to join our tight-knit core team with experience in the publishing industry or work with authors to be a part of the growth of our team and help us manage tasks as we expand our company.

The ideal candidate should have exceptional spoken and written English proficiency and good interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills. This role calls for a candidate who enjoys collaboration, can meet deadlines, and assertiveness, and can continue to grow in responsibilities to support the business owner and their team’s projects as they expand.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years working as freelance administrative assistant with some email marketing and social media experience.

This position will answer directly to the founder and team members for project management support and marketing efforts for a successful women-owned publishing company.

**Main Tasks / Responsibilities**
– Create and produce high-level copywriting for newsletters and social media.
– Weekly email newsletter creation and distribution through email marketing. This will include basic graphics, copywriting, and a good eye for visual appeal.
– Create simple graphics and visual designs for social media and newsletters.
– Project coordination for the advanced reader review process. Tasks included are: uploading books to our distribution platform and sending out books to desired email lists. Attention to deadlines and details is crucial in this process.
– Upload book metadata to different digital platforms (Goodreads, Shopify, retailers, and more).
– Handle book funnels specific to the client.
– A wide variety of administrative tasks including using Trello, team collaboration, calendar management, etc.

**Skill preferences (not required, but would be a PLUS):**
– Extended experience with email marketing and email newsletter creation.
– Basic knowledge of WordPress such as uploading blogs, changing elements, adding covers, adding text, etc.
– Publishing industry experience or experience working with authors or self-publishing experience

**Budget and Hours**
– $7 to 9 per hour, 10-15 hours per week
– Flexible Philippine Time with check-in meetings weekly in Pacific Standard Time.
