Hope you’re doing well. My name is Richard and I run an Amazon OA business. We are looking for two full-time rockstar product researchers that is experienced in this business model. We operate in the U.S and Canada. You will be fully a part of our team as we will invest in you as a teammate. You will be receiving coaching from me to ensure you are confident in your abilities. Successful candidates will be paid and compensated very well and also be promoted to Managers if appropriate.
A successful candidate will have the following:
* 1+ years experience with SellerAMP
– MUST understand the concept of Reverse Sourcing and Storefront Stalking as this will be where most of your time will be spent
* 1+ years experience with analyzing Keepa charts
– MUST understand how to read charts fully to understand sales velocity and what is considered a good item to purchase
– Knowledge of Keepa Product Finder is a plus
* 1+ years with online arbitrage landscape as a whole *VERY IMPORTANT*
– You must be able to fully know which websites you should be looking at and should be avoiding (Example: Retail websites like Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, ShoppersDrugMart, etc. are retail websites that are frequently sourced from vs. eBay which will be avoided as it is a marketplace and not a retailer)
– You must be able to understand how to transform an unprofitable product into a profitable one by finding coupons and discount codes. (Will not be applicable to all products but having an understanding of how to check for discounts very quickly is necessary)
* Experience with Google Sheets as this will be the main point of organization for organizing winning products and losing ones
For soft skills, we are looking for the following:
*Coachable
– I understand that you will not be the perfect sourcer when starting out, that’s fine. Since I am only looking for two employees, I will be able to spend a lot of time building your skills to make you an expert sourcer very quickly.
*Rockstar personality and persistence
– Sourcing at a glance is not the hardest thing, but it is definitely a numbers game. If you understand the arbitrage space well, you will know that you must filter through A LOT of junk products until you find a good one and you know how great it feels once you find a good one.
– Having a rockstar personality means that you do NOT give up easily and that you are excited to filter through losing products because this is simply part of the process to finding winning products. It may take you hours before you find a winning product, but a rockstar will not let this affect their sourcing skills and will always be trying their best. (Sometimes you will feel discouraged and this will reduce your efforts and will eventually cause you to make mistakes. A rockstar recognizes this and will always put in 100%)

*Creativity and Critical Thinking
– If you know the online arbitrage space well, then you know that it is very popular and there is a lot of competition. I myself do not know EVERYTHING there is about sourcing. Because of this, I do not require you to source exactly like how I teach you. The more creative you can get with successfully finding a winning product, the better.
– For example, I could not source a product that had a lot of competition, but I knew that it would be coming from somewhere if there was a lot of people selling it. Instead of the traditional method of sourcing, I got creative and decided to look for wholesale suppliers or finding international suppliers to import it. This level of creativity is what we’re looking for and you are encouraged to have this level of critical thinking. I will be with you to help you build this skill, but we are looking for people who will not give up easily if they cannot find a product, especially if it is a very good one.
PAY STRUCTURE & PROMOTIONS
Base + COMMISSION
I understand how hard, discouraging, and sometimes boring sourcing can be. This is why I want to make this as rewarding as it can be for you. You can be paid very well if you are motivated enough to be a part of our team. We will still be determining the best way to add a commission structure but you will be paid based on your efforts.
As our business grows, we will also be looking to hire managers internally. Meaning, as you become an expert in your role, we will look to promote you to take on more responsibilities and manage different parts of the business. As a Manager, you will be paid more of course.
