Job Description

Compensation:
– $800/mo base
– $5k/mo sales quota
– + 10% commission on any revenue after $10k/mo
– Estimated $500-4,000/mo commission payouts per month

You are expected to deliver results:
This is not a sales job where you collect a paycheck for trying. – – You are expected to show up and deliver results.
If within 90 days you have not closed new accounts, or do not show the adequate activity and follow ups per the responsibilities laid out, you will be let go.
You will be given leads. You will be given sales coaching. The CEO will support you on deals in the early stages to help you get a -win. You will be given all of the tools you need to succeed. Yet you must deliver results if you want to stay in this role.

Expectations:
– In your first 3 months, we will expect you to hit your quota. You will start with a steady flow of new inbound leads, and referrals from Content Allies.
On top of that, we have prepared email campaigns to every Content Allies customer who did not close as a result of budgeting.
– A rate card is already created and established with a bases sales process built by the CEO.
– All conditions are set up from day one for you to close new business. Thus, we expect you to hit quota within 3 months and start collecting sales commissions.

Key Responsibilities:
– Handle inbound leads and convert them into closed deals.
– Follow up with leads up to 10 times before considering them inactive.
– Call leads who provide a phone number.
– Customize rate cards and proposals to meet the specific needs of leads.
– Learn the basics of podcasting to make appropriate recommendations.
– Manage upsells and key accounts (initially taking ownership of this until a Customer Success function is established).
– Support the operations team with a smooth transition from sales to operations.

Requirements:
– A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically in digital marketing or software services.
– Podcasting experience is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.
– A robust internet connection that can support frequent video calls.
– A reliable power supply, with at least a backup generator as a contingency.
– A professional appearance on video calls, with a clean and tidy background.
– Availability to take phone calls from 8 AM to 5 PM EST (USA).
