Experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant for Amazon FBA Business

We are a well-established e-commerce business specializing in automotive replacement parts. Since 2018, we have been selling primarily on Amazon, but also on eBay, Walmart, and our own Shopify website. We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper/accountant who is familiar with the unique needs and challenges of Amazon FBA businesses.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive bookkeeper/accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce accounting, particularly with Amazon FBA, and will be responsible for:

• Monthly Reporting:
• Preparing and delivering accurate Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements by the 15th of each month for the prior month.
• Cash Flow Forecasting:
• Developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Inventory Management:
• Keeping an accurate record of inventory on hand at the end of each month for accounting purposes.
• Determining the final cost per unit and shipping cost per unit quarterly to verify margins and ROI targets.
• Purchase Orders and Accounts Payable:
• Managing purchase orders and accounts payable, ensuring they are organized and accurately recorded.
• Financial Clarity and Guidance:
• Providing the CEO with clear insights into profitability, EBITDA, and other key financial metrics.
• Offering guidance on accounting best practices and financial strategies as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting for e-commerce businesses, especially Amazon FBA.
• Familiarity with eBay, Walmart, and Shopify platforms is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero.
• Experience with Amazon accounting integration software such as A2X or SellerBoard.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical skills to track and interpret financial data and trends.
• Ability to forecast financial outcomes and provide actionable insights.
• Organizational Skills:
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and record-keeping.

Software Proficiency:

• Accounting Software:
• QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero / Excel
• Amazon Integration Tools:
• A2X or SellerBoard
