Experienced Bookkeeper for Small Online Business

We are a small business looking for an experienced accountant to help us grow by keeping a close eye on metrics that matter. The ideal candidate will be able to work remotely and have experience using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and task management software such as ClickUp, Asana, or Trello.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Reconciling all business and personal financial transactions (revenue and expenses) on a monthly basis.
• Forecasting cash flow.
• Creating and maintaining budgets.
• Creating and emailing reports to the CEO on a regular basis.
• Researching refinancing options for high interest credit cards and loans.
• Creating expense reports.
• Tying expenses to client projects to determine revenue on each project.
• Creating current and dream life and business budgets.

Skills Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience using QuickBooks.
• 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet program).
• CPA
• Experience using ClickUp (or similar task management software like Asana or Trello).

This is a part-time position and it’s a new role within our company. You’ll help build the job description as we go. We expect that to start, you’ll complete a set of tasks each month that may take around 6 – 10 hours per month with the potential to grow as the business grows. While we are based in the Pacific time zone, it isn’t necessary for you to complete the work during those hours however you may occasionally need to meet via Zoom at a time that works for your and our time zone.
