We’re based in the UK and operate under two brands – Walji & Co and Capture Accounting (accounting services for content creators and influencers)
We’re looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our small team of 9 (we already have one Filipino on our team who has been with us for over a year)
We are a close knit team – most of the staff have been with the company for more than 5 years (two have been with the firm for over 30 years!)
Your role:
You will be supporting a client manager in the UK with bookkeeping for UK clients on Xero mainly (and some on QBO). Ideally you will have experience of working in a UK accounting firm or for UK clients – or if not then experience working in a BPO for Australian or US firms to service their clients.
You will be given training and support to help you manage daily bookkeeping for clients and therefore being a quick learner will help.
We work with high profile content creators and social media influencers so it is an exciting opportunity for someone who is diligent, has a strong bookkeeping foundation and knowledge of Xero in particular.
What you need to have:
You will have at least 3 years experience of bookkeeping and have a degree or similar accounting qualification. You will be comfortable using zoom to have daily calls your manager and become part of the team.
Experience of Xero is required and it would be useful to also be familiar with using Hub-Doc and Dext or similar.

Your working hours:
This is a fully remote position so you can work from home providing you have a good internet connection. We are flexible around the hours but usually the hours would be in line with full time UK working hours between 8am – 4pm (GMT)
Holidays:
We honor all Filipino holidays in addition to 25 days per year as well as the 13th month once you pass your 6m probationary period.
