Experienced Content Editor Needed

Stoltz Media, an innovative and rapidly growing content creation company, is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our diverse team. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our content, ensuring that we only put up top-notch written work that engages and informs our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

– Edit and proofread written content, ensuring proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
– Review content for readability, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
– Ability to develop content outlines based on thorough research
– Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve content quality and clarity
– Develop SOP’s for things like style guides, templates, and best practices
– Conduct in-depth research to support content development and ensure factual accuracy
– Identify opportunities for content improvement and contribute ideas for new content topics
– Be comfortable using SEO optimization tools such as SurferSEO and Neuronwriter
– Meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail

Qualifications:

– Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Legal or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in editing, proofreading, or content development
– Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax
– Strong research skills and ability to gather information from various sources to support content development
– Proven ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to writers
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
