We’re seeking a SUPER talented, experienced writer who can do thorough research & write in a way that teaches, educates, and engages readers for our blog.

Here are the key things you need to know about this position:

1. Audience – Our target audience is (mostly female) senior U.S. citizens who are dog parents of 1 or more dogs.

Our readers often share they have mobility issues and, hence, cannot take their dogs out on long walks.

Age range: between 65-90 years old.

2. Tone of voice we want: Conversational, as if speaking to a friend (not formal or academic; no use of complicated sentences).

3. Clear writing: Readability Grade 3 in the Hemingway app: /

The sentences should sound natural & be explained so simply that even non-native English-speaking people can understand everything said. 🙂

4. Formatting:
– Proper grammar & punctuation are non-negotiable.
– A lot of white space between the rows so it’s easy on the eyes.

We want the content to be ready for publishing upon submission.

5. Content:
– Must be on point (no filler/fluff or repetition of saying one & the same thing multiple times by using the same or different words).
