Role: Experienced Graphics Designer
Contract: Full-Time (160 hours)
Business Hours: Mon – Fri at 8 AM to 5 PM EST
Service Hours are any time from 6 AM – 8 PM EST
Mandatory Weekly Meetings on Mondays at 1 PM EST
Rate: $900 – $1,200 monthly / $10,800 – $14,400 annually
Availability to Start: April 15, 2024

What you’ll do

This company is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who will play a vital role in creating visually captivating designs that communicate the brand’s message and engage the target audience. Key qualities they seek in a Graphic Designer include creativity, solid visual communication skills, technical proficiency in design software, meticulous attention to detail, adaptability, collaborative mindset, excellent time management, and brand awareness. Responsibilities for the services include but are not limited to:

Crafting compelling e-commerce listing images for platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and Etsy. This involves understanding the product and target audience to create captivating visuals that drive conversions and sales.
Creating engaging and informative infographics for various products and brands. You will be responsible for translating complex information into visually appealing graphics that effectively communicate key messages and data.
Enhancing listing images to engage potential buyers through the use of compelling callouts, text, and other relevant information. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to optimize product listings, ensuring that visuals and text work harmoniously to attract and convert customers.
Build brand pages and detailed content pages for products, utilizing stock photos and various font types. You will work closely with the content team to create visually captivating pages that showcase the brand’s identity, product features, and unique selling points.

What you should have

5+ years of design experience, with a strong emphasis on e-commerce. You should deeply understand user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, and industry best practices.
A well-rounded portfolio showcasing past work and design versatility. Online samples are a must, demonstrating your expertise in creating engaging e-commerce images, infographics, and brand pages.
High attention to detail with the ability to minimize errors. You should have a keen eye for pixel-perfect design and be meticulous to ensure the highest quality.
You are proficient in using industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. Your technical skills allow you to bring your creative ideas to life precisely and efficiently.
Willingness to thoroughly review instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure a clear understanding of tasks. Strong English verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively translating requirements into visually compelling designs.
Exceptional adherence to delivery times. Our work with clients relies heavily on strict timelines, making on-time delivery a crucial aspect of this role. You should possess excellent time management skills and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
