Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a remarkable Interior Designer who possesses not just the technical skills but also an insatiable thirst for growth. This role is not limited to creating visually appealing commercial designs; it’s about understanding the history, context, and myriad facets that shape a project. Working closely under the guidance of our Creative Director, you will be an essential pivot, bridging client visions with design realities, and always pushing boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
-Commercial Design Tailoring: Design interiors that are custom-fit to commercial spaces, ensuring they echo with the client’s brand essence and operational needs.
– Drafting Expertise: Draft construction drawings with an unparalleled attention to detail, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
– Building Code Adherence: Regularly update oneself on building codes, ensuring every design is up to standard and compliant.
– Technological Proficiency: Efficiently use CAD, Revit, and other pivotal software for creating detailed 3D renderings, walk-throughs, and dynamic presentations.
– Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with the design team. Attend virtual meetings regularly to discuss the intricacies and evolution of the project.
– Timely Communication: Ensure prompt responses and be accessible during Vancouver PST working hours.
– Research and Development: Stay updated on the newest materials, techniques, products, and methodologies in the realm of design.
– Empathetic Approach: Grasp client requirements, aspirations, and concerns to create designs that are both visually pleasing and functional.
– Sustainability: Embrace and incorporate eco-friendly practices in design, championing both aesthetics and environmental consciousness.
-Continuous Learning: Participate in relevant workshops, webinars, and courses provided by Renuvo to keep your skills sharp and updated.
Requirements:
A degree or diploma in interior design or architecture.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial interior design.
Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and the ability to execute 3D renderings and walk-throughs.
A solid grasp of construction drawings and a keen understanding of building codes.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a robust understanding of architectural and interior design principles.
Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing them, and ensuring deadlines are met.
A rich portfolio exhibiting your past work in commercial interior design.
