We are a software company catering to Forex and stock traders, and we are looking for an experienced PHP programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PHP, including both the latest PHP 8 and older PHP 7 versions, and a proven track record of integrating various APIs and Webhooks with web portals. This role requires someone who is a quick learner, capable of understanding and implementing APIs they may not have previously encountered.
As part of our team, you will be tasked with adding new features to existing web portals, starting with integration with the DXtrade platform, followed by Stripe, PayPal, Active Campaign, MailChimp, 2Checkout, etc.
This is initially a part-time position with the potential to become full-time based on performance and expertise.

– Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities in our web portals using PHP.
– Integrate third-party APIs, starting with DXtrade, followed by Stripe, PayPal, Active Campaign, Mailchimp, 2Checkout, and more.
– Convert old code from PHP 7 to PHP 8, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization.
– Work closely with our development team to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
– Collaborate and communicate effectively, including participating in a Zoom call for an interview and weekly check-ins.
– Stay updated with the latest PHP developments and best practices in API integration.

– Strong proficiency in PHP programming, with experience in both PHP 7 and PHP 8.
– Demonstrable experience with API integrations, including financial platforms, email marketing tools, and payment gateways.
– Experience in creating PHP scripts to receive information from Webhooks.
– Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new APIs and technologies.
– Knowledge of Forex and stock trading concepts (e.g., pips, trades, market orders) is highly desirable.
