POSITION OVERVIEW
The mission for this position is to take full ownership of all podcast production from start to finish. This includes scheduling, editing, producing, publication, and marketing. This position also requires providing strategic insight to increase listenership, engagement, subscribers, and downloads.
We are looking for an above-average, energetic, and highly motivated team player who is skilled in podcast production, marketing, and growth. This is a part-time role that can be performed virtually.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take complete ownership of all podcast production needs
• Assist with episode scheduling, outlines, and prep work for each podcast episode
• Organize pre-production, production, and post-production documents to ensure all digital files and documents are
processed, filed, and stored for future needs.
• Oversee editing of podcast episodes and other audio content, as needed
• Write show notes and publish episodes across podcast and social media platforms
• Work with external show producers and PR managers to ensure consistent, quality content that aligns with branding
• Assist with marketing strategy to maintain and increase engagement on owned and external platforms
• Oversee all the podcast marketing while collaborating with our internal marketing team
• Manage multiple production calendars and strict deadlines
• Gather and report analytics for internal and external reporting purposes

EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years of podcast production experience
• Ability to understand what’s working on other podcasts and how to apply that to our shows – we want you to bring your
expertise and opinions to the table
• Experience or desire to learn about marketing and distribution of podcasts
• Passion for creating energetic and impactful audio content
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
• In-depth understanding of podcasting best practices
• Track record of producing/managing a growing podcast
• Highly organized and detail-oriented and creative
• Comfortable using software such as Slack, ASANA, Zoom, and Google Drive.
