Experienced Primary School Teacher for Online Tutoring (Focus on English Writing, Math, and Reasoning Skills)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced primary school teacher from the Philippines for online tutoring. The teacher will play a vital role in the educational development of two children, one in Year 1 and the other in Year 4, with a curriculum that includes English writing, Mathematics, general ability, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily online classes (3-4 hours per day, 5 days a week) between 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM Australian Time (1:00 PM to 3:30 PM Philippine Time), with the possibility of weekend classes.
Prepare and deliver lesson plans in English writing, Mathematics, general ability, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning. All necessary learning materials will be provided for lesson preparation.
Regularly assess and provide detailed feedback on students’ progress in each subject area.
Utilize creative and effective teaching strategies to ensure comprehensive understanding and skill development.
Maintain a commitment to the students’ educational growth for a minimum of two years.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a primary school teacher with a focus on English writing, Mathematics, and reasoning skills.
Superior proficiency in English, particularly in writing and reading comprehension.

Demonstrated capability in effectively teaching Mathematics, general ability, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.
Ability to creatively adapt lesson plans and teaching methods.

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and engaging teaching approach.

Reliable internet connection and the necessary equipment for online teaching.

Piano playing ability is a desirable additional skill.
