INTRO:
This role is responsible for the creation and continuous optimization of copy for various projects, including product descriptions and landing page copy across multiple websites, digital marketing copy, as well as blog and article posts.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Website + Product Copy
-Write engaging and accurate product titles, summaries, and descriptions of our eCommerce products for our target audiences.
-Write compelling and creative copy for site landing pages, category pages, and blog posts.
-Enrich product copy by applying SEO best practices.
-Use tools such Ahrefs, SEOMoz and other keyword research to improve the organic performance of products, pages, and websites.
-Interpret product information to turn it into persuasive copy concepts.
-Adapt copy to different users, different brands, and on different websites.
Marketing + Communications Copy
-Write compelling and creative copy for email campaigns and SMS campaigns.
-Write compelling copy for search, shopping, and social campaigns.
-Write compelling copy for voice, video, and display ads on other marketing channels.
-Adapt copy to different channels and media, including blog and article posts.
Branding + Collaboration
-Collaborate within the Digital Experience teams to ensure ongoing copy optimization efforts are prioritized and focused on the most impactful deliverables.
-Collaborate with the branding and creative teams to effectively project brand and value propositions to users across our web properties with great attention to detail, so much so that you’ll include your favorite ice cream in the subject line when replying to this post. Ensure all content fits with each brand’s guidelines.
-Collaborate with the inventory and purchasing merchandising teams to ensure copy is in alignment with product launch schedules.
-Adapt copy to different users, brands, and channels.
-Develop, document, and facilitate the adoption of ongoing standard practices that increase the quality and consistency of copy creation.
WHAT YOU BRING:
– 3+ years of copywriting experience for end-users (products, landing pages, ads, etc.) as well as blog and article posts.
-Ability to write in multiple styles, formats, and tones.
-Creativity and flexibility.
-Proactive and positive mindset, with a willingness to communicate and ask questions as needed.
-Strong research skills. Experience with SEO research tools such as Ahrefs, SEOMoz, Google Search Console, etc.
-Ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across multiple teams in a remote/flex work environment.
-Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
-Familiarity with Google suite of products.
