We are looking for a passionate and creative social media marketing assistant to join our team and support our efforts in creating and executing effective marketing campaigns.
As a Virtual Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:
* Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in SMM and content marketing
* Assisting in the creation and execution of Social media and content marketing strategies for clients
* Managing and optimizing social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
* Creating and scheduling social media posts, blog posts, and other content on various platforms
* Monitoring and responding to social media interactions, such as comments and messages
* Collaborating with our team to develop marketing materials, such as graphics, videos, and infographics
* Analyzing and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns using various analytics tools
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SMM and content marketing
TASKS:
* Create visually appealing and engaging social media content across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
* Edit and enhance photos, videos, and graphics to maintain a consistent brand aesthetic.
* Craft eye-catching thumbnails and cover images to maximize click-through rates and engagement.
* Conduct research on trending topics, hashtags, and industry news to inform content strategy.
* Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
* Monitor social media platforms, respond to comments, and engage with our online community.
* Analyze social media metrics and provide regular performance reports.
* Creating graphics using existing templates & content in Canva/photoshop
* Creating Pinterest graphics & scheduling pins in tailwind/ metricool app
* Schedule content in advance using Metricool software
* Creating captions for all scheduled posts
* Create articles/blog posts
* Hashtag research using the Flichtech tool
* Re-sharing daily Instagram reels & posts on stories
* Creating & sharing 1-2 Instagram stories per day
* Reposting published TikTok without watermark on Instagram Reels, Youtube Shorts, Facebook Stories, Pinterest Idea Pins, Twitter & LinkedIn (adjusting copy /hashtags to each platform)
* Sharing YouTube videos to Facebook Page, Instagram Stories & Pinterest. Checking daily inbox for tagged content to save & re-share
* Adhoc admin tasks
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
* At least 1-2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager and content marketing
* Strong eye for design, composition, and visual storytelling.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You MUST Speak & write in fluent English
* Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for each platform
* Proficiency in photo and video editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, capcut or Canva.
* Familiarity with email marketing and analytics tools, such as Mailchimp and Google Analytics
* Proficiency in graphic design tools, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus
* Familiarity with social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
* Experience using a social media scheduling tool (Metricool, Later, etc)
* Familiarity with using Slack for communication
* Experience posting to and managing Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
* Experience with hashtag research (either manually or using a tool like )
* Graphic design experience is needed – applicant MUST have good graphic skills and aesthetic sense (spacing, colors, scales,
etc
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
* Available 10-20hrs a week

* Flexible hours- we will work with your schedule to set your best calendar.
* Most (but not all) content will be provided for you to create/ schedule though some content you will need to develop with your creativity (should be fun)!
HOURS: 20 hours/week
RATE: $4.00-6:00/ hour ($400/month)
