Affordable Web Solutions is looking for its next EXPERIENCED Social Media Specialist.
This role will be responsible for our brand and client’s planning, content ideation, creation, and implementation of schedules across our social media channels, including posts, stories and videos.

THE ROLE:
• Research client brands, and create innovative and persuasive captions.
• Design using Canva (not just relying on templates).
• Increase traffic & lead generation through the delivery of organic posts.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain all social media accounts, including scheduling of posts across all platforms and sharing within community noticeboards.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• A minimum 3 years of experience working across branding, digital, and social media
• References are a must
• Technical understanding of the use of social media for marketing purposes and experience
• Have excellent English (British) written and verbal skills.
• You must have attention to detail and follow instructions.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and measuring multi-channel digital communication strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to curate content, including creativity, planning, and design, to create an aspiring, informative and engaging content schedule for our audience and our client’s audience
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills alongside solid attention to detail
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Highly organised with a flair for strategic forward thinking and strong problem solving skills
• Ability to multi task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Ability to successfully manage change in a complex, diverse and challenging environment.
• Report to your manager regularly to discuss your ideas, initiatives, and status reports for achieving established goals and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Graphic Design – proficient background in graphic design
• Creativity – an individual who brings exciting creativity to marketing and design and is open to trying new things
• Marketing – an understanding of marketing and how it applies to design
• Social media expertise – Knowledgeable of social media networks – using, optimising and managing the latest trends on Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile
• Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; can deal with frequent change, critical feedback, delays, or unexpected events.
• Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
• Videography and editing – not a required skill but an asset.
• Reporting – Be a master in understanding report campaigns and insights to improve strategies.
