Experienced Video Editor and Motion Graphic Artist

Must work California USA hours 8am to 12 pm

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor and Motion Graphic Artist with professional proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing high-quality video content and motion graphics for various platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of video production, animation, and post-production processes, as well as a strong creative vision.

Responsibilities

Video Editing:
Edit raw video footage into polished, high-quality content suitable for various platforms including web, social media, and broadcast.
Implement advanced editing techniques including color correction, audio mixing, and effects integration.
Ensure seamless storytelling through precise cutting, transitions, and sequencing.

Motion Graphics:
Create visually compelling motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for promotional videos, explainer videos, and branded content.
Design and animate title sequences, lower thirds, and other on-screen graphics.
Integrate motion graphics into live-action footage seamlessly.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the creative team, including directors, producers, and other editors, to achieve the desired vision for each project.
Provide input during the conceptualization phase to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Technical Execution:
Maintain organized project files, ensuring efficient workflow and easy accessibility for team members.
Stay updated with the latest software updates and industry trends to continuously improve skills and techniques.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the editing process.

Portfolio Management:
Maintain an up-to-date portfolio showcasing a range of projects, highlighting skills in both video editing and motion graphics.
Provide examples of previous work that demonstrate technical proficiency and creative vision.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is mandatory.
Experience with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings.
Proficiency in color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
Ability to work with various video resolutions and frame rates.
Creative Skills:

Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual content.
Strong graphic design skills and aesthetic sense.
Hardware Requirements:

A high-performance computer equipped with a multi-core processor (Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher).
At least 32 GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and handling large video files.
A dedicated GPU (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 or higher) for accelerated rendering and effects processing.

Fast internal SSD storage (1TB or more) for quick access to project files and media assets.
High-resolution monitors for precise color grading and detailed editing work.
Portfolio:

Must provide a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and motion graphics.
Include links to completed projects, highlighting specific contributions and techniques used.
