We are seeking a highly experienced video editor to work on our ongoing lifestyle travel documentary YouTube TV show, “Sailing Driving and Eating with: Peter Rollo”. This is a regular part-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on an engaging project and showcase your video editing skills.
Responsibilities:
• Take raw video footage and edit it into an episode that meets our high-quality standards
• Receive raw footage via hard drive or download and edit it into an initial draft cut for online presentation
• Incorporate feedback from Peter to re-edit the first draft, adding an introduction, outro, location maps, and other creative elements
• Request voice-over recordings or additional footage from Peter, as needed, and add them to the draft
• Upload subsequent drafts online for feedback and edit the final draft for Peter’s approval
• Complete the final edit and deliver the final product within the given time frame
Requirements:
• Excellent English language skills
• Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio of previous projects that demonstrate your abilities
• Good internet speed and ability to work remotely
• Proficiency in video editing software (please specify which software you use) and access to a suitable computer for editing
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Passion for creating engaging video content and willingness to be part of a collaborative team.
