Experienced Video Editor Needed ASAP

We are looking for a talented and motivated Remote Video Editor to join the team of a high-profile content creator with a substantial follower base across various social media platforms (Over 3 Million Followers). This role is critical in crafting high-quality, engaging content tailored to a diverse and expansive audience. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, efficiency, and a deep understanding of social media trends to produce 30+ short-form reels and 2 long-form videos monthly. Footage will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Produce at least 30 short-form reels (45 seconds to 1 minute each) and 2 long-form videos (8 to 10 minutes each) per month, ensuring each piece aligns with the creator’s brand and audience expectations.

Collaborate closely with the content creator and other team members to develop concepts and scripts that resonate with viewers and enhance follower engagement.

Manage the full editing process, including cutting footage, adding music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects, ensuring that all elements are harmonious and enhance the narrative.

Optimize video content for different platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, understanding the unique requirements and best practices for each.

Maintain project deadlines and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet schedule demands.

Continuously propose new ideas and concepts for both types of video content to keep the offerings fresh and exciting for viewers.

Ensure all content is up to the latest standards of video quality and adheres to platform-specific compliance.

Qualifications:
Proven track record as a Video Editor with experience in producing both short-form and long-form content, preferably for well-known social media personalities or brands.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Strong understanding of current social media and video content trends, with a knack for storytelling through digital formats.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

Creative mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with content creators and other team members. Excellent English.

Experience:
At least 3 years of professional video editing experience, particularly in a social media context.
