Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Video Editor with specific experience in editing Video Sales Letters (VSLs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of copy, pacing, planning, and the unique requirements of editing VSLs for ecommerce brands. This role will involve creating both long (20+ minutes) and short (5-10 minutes) VSLs using voice overs, scraped videos, unique content, and a plethora of stock videos.
Responsibilities:
– Edit long and short form VSLs using a variety of content, including voice overs, scraped videos, unique content, and stock videos.
– Understand and implement the principles of copy, pacing, and planning in video editing.
– Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure the VSLs align with our brand and marketing strategies.
– Use data-driven insights to improve our video content and strategies.
– Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and best practices.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in video editing, specifically in editing VSLs.
– Strong understanding of copy, pacing, and planning in video editing.
– Experience in editing videos for ecommerce brands.
– Proficiency in video editing software.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
