Experienced WordPress Developer

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who is skilled in crafting dynamic and user-friendly websites using WordPress. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and customization options. As a WordPress Developer at SmashStack, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with our design and development teams to create custom WordPress themes and plugins that align with client requirements.
– Customize and extend existing WordPress functionality to meet project needs.
– Optimize website performance, security, and SEO using best practices and industry standards.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress websites.
– Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and techniques to enhance our development processes.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
– Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development.
– Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
– Experience with WordPress hosting providers such as Pantheon, WPEngine, or similar.
– Ideally have experience with the Rapyd hosting platform.
– Experience with WordPress CI/CD using Github Actions.
– Familiarity with WordPress security best practices and optimization techniques.
– Experience working in a shell environment.
– Must have experience with Buddyboss+WordPress integration.
– Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
