Expert AutoCAD Drafter

ROLE:
The Expert AutoCAD Drafter is responsible for leading the technical drafting efforts that represent our design work in drawings.
We’re a small startup and you will work directly the founder, ensuring that all technical drawings are precise, detailed, and align with the overall project vision.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and effective communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Utilize provided AutoCAD templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
– Assist with drawing revisions based on city planning comments and design revisions
– Reference Rhino 3D Models for Drawings (no expertise in Rhino necessary. If you know any other 3D modeling software, you will have more than enough skills)
– Organize and manage project files effectively by adhering to file management system.

RESULTS:
– High quality AutoCAD drawings matching provided templates
– Effective and clear communication
– Daily check-ins to ensure project alignment and progress

REQUIREMENTS:
– Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
– Ability to comprehend tasks based on general instructions
– Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
– Enthusiastic problem-solving

AVAILABILITY:
– Weekly availability with the ability to connect around 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Minneapolis Time (CST).
– Hours required will vary. Some weeks may require up to 30+ hours of work, while others may be less if we are waiting for other parties or city planning to respond.
– Potential to become a full-time position in the future if our work picks up.

SALARY:
