Compensation: The base compensation for this role is $5 USD per hour ($800/mo), with bonuses of up to $200/mo for hitting KPIs. There is potential to increase this over time, as you gain skills and experience.
Your Mission, as an Email Copywriter
To craft compelling and brand-aligned email content that resonates with our clients’ audiences, driving engagement and sales growth for their E-commerce stores.
Responsibilities
Develop engaging and persuasive email copy that aligns with the client’s brand voice and marketing objectives.
Work closely with the design team to ensure the copy aligns with visual concepts, enhancing the overall impact of the email.
Conduct research to understand each brand’s audience, creating targeted messages that drive conversions.
Participate in the creation of content calendars, ensuring a strategic approach to email campaigns.
Collaborate on miscellaneous tasks such as subject line testing, A/B testing copy elements, and optimizing call-to-actions.
Assist in client reporting (End of Week + Monthly Reports) by providing insights into the copy performance.
Quality Checking your own work before submission to ensure it meets high standards of clarity, persuasiveness, and brand alignment.
Minor editing based on feedback from clients, account managers, and the design team.
Availability
– Must be able to meet for daily video calls with the team.
Preferable if you can work in the US time zone (from 9am to 5pm Central).
Communication
– Need to be an excellent English communicator, both verbally and in written form. Effective written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
– Collaborate with the team for content and strategic input.
– Communicate via Slack; availability for video calls.
Technical skills
– Strong background in copywriting with a focus on email marketing.
– Ability to follow directions precisely and adapt copy based on feedback.
– Capable of managing multiple client accounts (8 to 12) efficiently, meeting deadlines under pressure.
– Experience with the following software is preferred but not required: Klaviyo, Shopify, Google Docs, Slack, Gmail, Google Drive.
