What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an innovative Graphic Designer! This is a remote (work from home) position.
We’re in search of a Graphic Designer who has a sharp eye for trends, particularly within the realm of YouTube and social media, and can leverage these trends in creating captivating YouTube thumbnails, social media graphics, and merchandise designs. This individual should be up-to-date with the latest trends in design and be able to regularly produce creative and compelling visual content for our YouTube channel, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
Using their creativity and understanding of visual communication, they will craft designs that draw attention and spur audience engagement, ultimately growing our digital presence. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and innovative tools like Midjourney AI is necessary to create visually captivating content.
As they become more adept, they will assume a more autonomous role, taking the initiative in design direction, providing insight, and ensuring the quality of our graphic content. This role requires a blend of trend-spotting, creativity, technical prowess, and understanding of what attracts and holds audience attention.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a deep appreciation for graphic design, media, is excellent at communicating in English, and can work independently to foster a strong, engaging visual identity for our brand across multiple platforms.
We encourage our designers to explore their creative freedom; we believe in giving them room to innovate, only providing feedback to guide them. This position is not about following instructions but about taking the lead in the creative process. The ideal candidate:
Photoshop: Expert with photoshop , being able to create posts with texts and graphics that are eye-catching.
Adobe Illustrator: Strong experience with adobe illustrator, with the ability to create designs and drawings from scratch.
Midjourney AI: Experience with midjourney or a strong desire to learn how to use midjourney AI to create assets and assist in graphic design.
Deconstruct & Replicate: You will be able to analyze the techniques of successful competitors within YouTube and digital media, dissect their methods, and apply them to our own strategy in a unique and authentic way. This requires a deep understanding of different designs used by these competitors. However, rather than simply copying these tactics, the successful candidate should be able to transform and adapt them, aligning them with our company aesthetic. This skill requires a creative but also analytical mind, and a strong understanding of our brand identity and target audience. It’s about learning from the best, and then doing it even better.
Strong English Proficiency: We want someone who is proficient in English. Communication is important in our organization and English is how we communicate.
Researching: The ideal graphic designer is one that is constantly trying to learn better and more efficient ways to improve at his craft. You should constantly be seeking new information and learning from the best designers in the world and how you can best improve. There are many new tools constantly being introduced such as different AI tools and you should not only be excited for these new tools but you should be on the cutting edge of your craft.
