Expert photo editor

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Photo Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Photoshop and Capture One, with a strong focus on product photography and retouching product images. Experience in wedding and general photography, as well as familiarity with Fujifilm RAW files, is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

Edit and retouch product photos to the highest standards using Capture One and Photoshop.
Ensure all photos are consistent with the company’s and clients’ branding and quality requirements.
Collaborate with photographers and the creative team to maintain a cohesive visual style.
Manage and organize a large volume of photos, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery.
Provide expertise in photo manipulation and enhancement when needed.
Assist in editing wedding and general photography projects as required.
Stay updated on the latest photography and editing techniques and software.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Photo Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in product photography and retouching.
Proficiency in Capture One and Photoshop; Lightroom use is not permitted.
Excellent retouching skills, with a strong understanding of color correction, exposure, and composition.
Familiarity with Fujifilm RAW files and editing them in Capture One.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in wedding and general photography editing.
Knowledge of branding and visual storytelling.
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation:

This position starts at $5 per hour and will initially be on a contract basis. However, there is strong potential for this role to transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs. We are looking for someone who can grow with us and become an integral part of our team.
