Seeking:
Looking for an expert level retoucher that specializes in portrait retouching, with an emphasis on natural skin retouching and a high level of attention to detail. We are not looking to work for a retouching company and are seeking a one on one relationship with a solo retoucher. We will be providing examples and instructions on our process.
Part-Time to Full-Time Job:
We will start as part-time to see how it goes. If you do a good job and consistently meet deadlines, there is an opportunity to increase to a full-time position.

-Receiving and sending images via Google Drive or Dropbox (Dropbox is preferred)
-Following detailed retouching instructions in English for each image
-Analyzing and learning our preferred retouching style and process
-Receiving feedback and conducting retouching revisions, typically 2-4 revision rounds are needed
-General retouching requests: natural skin retouching, color matching and unifying the skin tone throughout the body, blemish removal, natural appearing stray hair removal, liquify of body and clothing, makeup touch up, wrinkle reduction in clothing, background clean up, dodge & burn, limited use of frequency separation, ability to match our existing style, consistency of work across similar images and poses, retouching should be undetectable with no errors.

-High level of professional portrait retouching
-Ideally 5+ years of experience with a professional online portfolio
-The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and possess advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
-Strong English communication and writing skills
-Ability to work within tight deadlines

Pay:
TBD this will depend on your level of skills and other applicants applying to the job.
Perks:
Leads to flexible hours once you are fully onboarded. We’ll need images uploaded by certain deadlines, and we’ll want to touch base with you at least once a day to communicate. Once you are familiar with our process and the onboarding is complete, we can set a time that works best for the both of us to touch base once a day.
Flexible Vacation:
If you need time off, just let me know. However, you must meet the deadlines of any jobs that you previously agreed to take on.
Opportunities:
If you do a great job, we can send you more retouching work on a consistent basis. Other photography/creative job opportunities may also be available for the right person (Ex: Lightroom culling + editing, image archiving, social media, etc).

My business is Kaela Speicher Photography and I’m a portrait photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA USA with 18 years of experience. I specialize in creating “magazine cover worthy” portraits for my clients. Our genres include studio portraits, headshots, families, high school seniors, maternity, and boudoir. Our speciality is mostly personal branding and headshots. We currently have a team of 5 retouchers from all over the world and keep them very busy. My company has a very streamlined process for retouching that keeps us organized and consistent.
