We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a QuickBooks Desktop Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Desktop software. Your primary focus will be on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring smooth bookkeeping processes. Additionally, you will provide support in various tasks such as generating reports, assisting with digital marketing efforts, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
– Efficiently utilize QuickBooks Desktop to handle bookkeeping tasks, including importing, categorizing, and reconciling transactions from bank accounts and credit cards.
– Ensure accurate data conversion by using third-party software to convert and prepare bank statements for seamless importing into QuickBooks.
– Execute data export and re-import procedures from QuickBooks files when necessary.
Maintain meticulous organization of financial records and ensure transactions are accurately categorized.
– Proactively troubleshoot any bookkeeping process issues, addressing challenges through effective problem-solving techniques.
– Generate comprehensive financial reports using both cash and accrual accounting methods as per client requirements.
– Assist in managing LinkedIn advertising campaigns and contribute to occasional social media marketing tasks.
– Access and manage WordPress website content to align with marketing goals and quality standards.
– Contribute to the business blog by crafting articles on topics related to QuickBooks, bookkeeping, and relevant subjects.
– Create standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to document internal processes and blogging guidelines, facilitating future business scalability.
– Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to meet expectations.
– Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and software advancements within bookkeeping and digital marketing domains.
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Desktop experience
– Proficiency in utilizing QuickBooks Desktop for diverse bookkeeping tasks, including transaction reconciliation, categorization, and importation.
– Demonstrated tech-savviness and the ability to swiftly adapt to emerging software tools and technologies.
– Impeccable organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate financial records.
– Basic understanding of SEO principles and the capacity to craft search engine-optimized content.
– Familiarity with WordPress and hands-on experience in website maintenance and content editing.
– Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
– Strong analytical skills and adeptness in troubleshooting complex issues.
– Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, reflecting a solid grasp of grammar and language mechanics.
– Preferred prior experience in bookkeeping, data entry, or related fields.
RATE: $7/hr
