The Role:
As our SEO Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust SEO strategies that significantly improve our websites visibilities and ranking on search engines. Your primary focus will be on technical SEO to enhance our site’s infrastructure and on local SEO to ensure we are highly visible in our target geographic areas.
?Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure our website is optimised for search engines.
* Develop and implement technical SEO strategies, including site speed optimisation, structured data markup, and XML sitemap maintenance.
* Lead our local SEO efforts to improve local search visibility, including managing Google My Business listings, local citations, and localised content creation.
* Collaborate with the content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and website development.
* Monitor and analyse SEO performance using tools such as Aherf and SEMrush, and adjust strategies as necessary.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry standards to ensure our SEO strategies remain effective.??
Requirements:
* Proven experience in SEO, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful technical and local SEO projects.
* Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and SEO best practices.
* Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics) and web analytics.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a talent for explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner.
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
