The Virtual Medical Scribe is a valuable part of the healthcare team, responsible for assisting physicians with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient patient care. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Accurately document patient encounters in real-time during medical examinations, including but not limited to patient history, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and physician-patient interactions.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, ordering lab tests, and managing patient records.
Track test results, ensuring they are received and reviewed by the physician in a timely manner.
Facilitate communication between the physician and other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and pharmacists.
Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Stay updated with medical terminology and advancements in medical technology.
Assist physicians with research and information retrieval as needed.
Qualifications:
Philippine Registered Nurse ONLY
Medical or clinical experience is a plus
Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a related role is preferred.
Proficient in medical terminology.
Proven experience as a scriber or similar role, preferably in a remote capacity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment, and to multi-task.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in using various software and online tools for communication and work management.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

This will be a very fulfilling and rewarding job as you help patient get healthier.
Our goal is to integrate qualified candidates into the daily flow of our Medical weight loss practice.
In this role you can expect first hand clinical exposure to a vast array of medical conditions and begin to develop an understanding of their medical management. This direct patient contact will also help to develop appropriate skills for communication in patient education and involvement in the coordination of their care.
