Expert Webflow Developer

We are looking for a dedicated Webflow specialized developer who has a minimum of 3 years experience (more is ideal) working in Webflow. They are well-versed in all Webflow native functionalities and features as well as Webflow adjacent software/integrations.

This position includes building websites in Webflow from provided Figma and Adobe Xd files from scratch, as well as performing design and content updates, CMS data entry and maintenance support to existing Webflow sites.

Beyond the technical requirements listed below, the successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail, a problem-solving attitude and be able to productively offer solutions, identify opportunities and provide clear communication within our larger collaborative team.

This role requires strong English skills (written and verbal), and being available within Mountain standard time 9am – 5pm. This is a long-term commitment where the developer can grow their expertise and become a valued part of our remote team.

Webflow Developer Technical Requirements:

Site development
– Expertise in developing in Webflow with the ‘Client first’ system
– Clean and efficient class system and page builds
– Common elements to be developed as Webflow symbols
– Able to accurately translate provided page layouts from Figma/Xd files to Webflow
– Translate provided desktop UI’s into responsive Webflow sites
– On-page SEO implementation with content provided by our team i.e. Apply Title tags, meta descriptions, correct H-tag system etc.
– Accessibility checks and implementation with content as provided by our team i.e. contrast, sizing, alt tags, open graph images for each page, check size increase crashing issues etc.
– Site Performance Best Practices i.e. Image size optimization, remove extraneous code etc.

CMS Creation
– Able to build multiple CMS collections on each site, with varying complexity
– Able to accurately populate and proof (data entry) multiple CMS collection items per site

Interactions
– Build Interactions from simple hover states/lotties to more involved interactions within Webflow i.e. scroll-based build-ins, navigation menu animations etc.

Integrations
– Experience integrating third-party functionality into Webflow i.e. iframe embeds, google maps, reCAPTCHA, adobe fonts etc
– Some CSS and Javascript is required to aid in embedded elements non-native to Webflow.
– Experience integrating tracking codes from various third parties to Webflow sites i.e. mailchimp, hubspot, google, sales force, LinkedIn, Meta etc.
– Experience troubleshooting integration issues with between WebFlow, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.

Publishing sites
– Quality Assurance testing and resolving:
– Proofing content; text, images, links, page settings and interactions.
– Browser testing i.e. PC, Android and MAC on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
– Responsive testing
– Able to apply redirects if required
– Populate and test Webflow native form settings and functionality
– Able to seamlessly deploy websites from Webflow, must be confident in managing DNS information, and troubleshooting issues around publishing a site live
– Post-publish, linkup Google Analytics and search console to live site, validate site performance and data gathering.
