Expo / React Native Developer

We are currently undergoing a significant re-factor of our application and are seeking a skilled Expo / React Native Developer to join us on this journey.

Job Description:
As an Expo / React Native Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of our trading app. You will work closely with the Head of Product (CEO) and the Designer to deliver new features and improve existing functionalities. This role requires a deep understanding of React and React Native, as well as the ability to efficiently transpose code between these frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Head of Product and Designer to define and implement new features.
Refactor and optimize the existing codebase for performance and scalability.
Transpose React code to React Native to ensure consistency and maintainability.
Utilize NativeWind / Tailwind for styling and ensuring a cohesive design language.
Implement and customize Victory Charts (D3) for data visualization needs.
Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and adherence to best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Expo / React Native and TypeScript.
Experience with NativeWind / Tailwind for styling.
Familiarity with React Native Reusables.
Proficient in Victory Charts (D3) for creating data visualizations.
Experience in refactoring and optimizing large-scale applications.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the fintech or trading app industry.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes.
